1000 Hälsingland farms
In addition to the seven world heritage farms, there are nearly 1,000 Hälsingland farms in the landscape. Many of them run businesses, others open to visitors in the summer, on special occasions or by appointment.
Each Hälsingland farm has its own unique profile, at some there is the possibility of guided tours, a café or a farm shop. Most are privately owned, but several offer accommodation, an exciting opportunity to get really close to the cultural heritage for relaxation and inspiration. Each farm has its own history and once you've visited one, you haven't visited them all!
The farms are private environments. Opening hours and prices may vary and accessibility for people with disabilities may be limited. For the best treatment and experience, contact one of the four visitor centers or the tourist office before your visit.
