Find your way!

Hälsingland is located in the middle of Sweden, approximately two hours by train from Stockholm Arlanda Airport.

From the south

Southward by car, you will reach Tönnebro via the E4, where you can choose to continue on the E4 along the coast or turn off towards Bollnäs–Ljusdal.

From the north

If you are coming from the north, take the E4 via Sundsvall towards Hudiksvall, where you can then turn off towards Ljusdal or continue towards Söderhamn, where you can turn off towards Bollnäs and after that towards Ovanåker.

The farmhouses lie spread out across the entire province – make sure you have plenty of time if you want to visit more than one!

To get to most of the farmhouses you will need to depend on a car, but many can be reached through X-Trafik in the Ljusnan Valley.
